Declutter your space and clear your mind!

Something that we all struggle with is clutter! We automatically think of the usual clutter in our closets, garages or  offices.  There is evidence that physical clutter can negatively impact our emotions and general wellbeing. It can also negatively affect our ability to focus and to be productive which can create  anxiety and feelings of overwelm.  Research has found a direct link between procrastination and clutter.

Organizing our spaces can provide benefits to our mental health. Decluttering is a practical strategy because it helps organize our brains which helps us overcome anxiety and procrastination. Clutter can hold us back because we hold onto things from our past, so decluttering can lead us to a fresh start.
